“Goodwill Halloween” Campaign In Southern California

Out for a walk the other day and saw this poster taped up in a Goodwill Drop-Off station window.

Fun and effective seasonal design work from L.A./Dallas-based The Miller Group, originally created in 2008 to capitalize on the boon to Goodwill’s business from L.A. costume hunters leading up to Halloween.

Art For Joplin

Good works from Moosylvania, a midwest-based marketing and ad agency, to raise money for rebuilding efforts in tornado ravaged Joplin, Missouri.

We can show you art and you can show Joplin hope.

Moose art directors have created a selection of limited edition designs to be purchased and screen-printed for $25 each - all of the proceeds from these posters will benefit United Way’s Small Business Fund, a project created to help in the economic reconstruction of Joplin after many of the city’s small businesses were destroyed by the tornado that touched down in May.

The sale has been extended through July 31st.

Ivan Cobenk on Kevin Bacon: Extended Cut - Logitech

More of a good thing isn’t always as effective. Sure, the concept is clever as hell, but the originally aired cut reminds us how smart creative decisions and editing can transform clever into brilliant.

Although it doesn’t necessarily remind us what the commercial’s trying to sell.

AdAge: Cap'n Crunch Breathes Easier - Talk Of His Demise Untrue

Box of Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch
There were serious breakfast palpitations when rumors spread that Quaker might have plans to scuttle the Cap’n.

Perhaps I can make it more clear to them how I feel about even considering such a move:

I’ll give them my bowl of my all-time favorite sugary peanut butter cereal fix… when they pry it from my cold, cold milk.
